Key Responsibilities
- Assist with material preparation, including loading, unloading, sorting, and staging parts or raw materials
- Operate or assist with production equipment as trained
- Support fabrication, machining, stamping, finishing, or assembly work as needed
- Measure, inspect, and organize parts according to job requirements
- Move materials safely using shop equipment when properly trained
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow instructions from supervisors, leads, and experienced team members
- Maintain quality and consistency throughout assigned tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and shop equipment
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on different tasks
- Manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation experience is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure is helpful
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Ability to follow safety procedures while working around equipment, tools, and metal materials
