Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Ferra and the customer throughout each project
- Coordinate structural steel projects from kickoff through completion
- Communicate project updates, schedules, and requirements with customers
- Manage project timelines and budgets to keep work on schedule and on target
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify field conditions, and address customer needs
- Work closely with shop and fabrication teams to align production with project requirements
- Identify and resolve issues before they affect schedule, budget, or quality
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout each job
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Construction or commercial construction experience preferred
- Comfortable reading project plans and understanding field conditions
- Solid computer skills for managing schedules, budgets, and project documentation
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites for regular site visits
- Experience with structural steel or metal fabrication is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to conduct site visits, including walking active construction and job sites
- Comfortable working in both office and job-site environments
- Ability to follow safety procedures while on site around equipment, tools, and metal materials
