U-Shaped Office Stairway with Cable Rail

For the interior of Wayne Garage Door’s new office space, Ferra fabricated a custom stairway system connecting first-floor operations with second-floor offices. The stair layout follows a U-shaped, switchback configuration designed to fit cleanly within the building footprint while providing clear, comfortable access between levels.

A defining feature of the project is the integrated cable rail system. While visually minimal, cable rail requires careful installation and precise tensioning to achieve both safety and a clean finished look. It is a detail-driven process that rewards patience and attention to craftsmanship.

Ferra focused on building a stair system that aligned with the surrounding interior construction while meeting functional and code requirements without unnecessary complexity. The result is a durable, well-finished stairway that supports daily use and adds a modern industrial element to the office environment.
